My First Post
This is the first post of my blog
Hey everyone!
Welcome to my little blog/newsletter! I hope you decide to stay around, if you'd like to get a weekly newsletter you can join the mailing list from the links on the home page and menu bar. If you'd like to leave the mailing list, you can reply to the newsletter email saying that you'd like to leave and I'll personally take you off the list.
I figure that for the first post there should be a section of introduction for what this is going to be.
Most posts on the website will be centred on a specific topic, for example it could be the identification of rocks and minerals (I have another site for that at gemcutter.github.io) or it could be about an art project I'd been working on (see froggy on the left). However some posts may be a collection of reader submissions.
The idea is that this becomes a place where myself and others can feel open sharing cool information and special interests. I myself have ADHD and Autism which gives an interesting relationship with focus. I frequently have 2-3 week hyperfixations on various topics, and I have a number of longer term special interests that I'm sure will become obvious as time progresses.
In my first post I'd like to show off a number of these little froggies that I've designed, drawn and printed as stickers myself. I don't currently have anywhere to sell them online but if you want to buy some you can absolutely send me an email at weeklyinfodump@gmail.com and I'll figure something out with you.
